Alerts allows you to broadcast messages to AppCan Mobile users, making communication more efficient than traditional text messages or emails. Here are some key features of AppCan Alerts:

1. Broadcast Messages: You can send messages to your mobile teams using AppCan Alerts. These messages can be pre-assigned group messages, alerts, or even include PDF attachments.
2. Read Confirmations: AppCan provides a “read” function, so you know which recipients have seen your message. This feature helps ensure effective communication within your organization.
3. Customisation: You can create messages specifically for your field force and assign them to individual users.
4. PDF Support: Attach PDF content to support your alert messages.
5. Video Support: Attached a URL for streaming of videos

When you select Alerts from the menu bar, a versatile data grid appears, enabling you to review, manage, and distribute alerts to field users efficiently.

1. Create an Alert:
   • Click the “Create Alert” button.
   • Enter the alert subject and text.
   • Attach a PDF if needed.
   • Enter a URL for the user to stream content, if required.
   • Select users to receive the alert.
   • Click “Send Alert” to distribute it.
2. Notified Users:
   • Click the red icon under “Notified Users” to see who received and read the alert.
   • View details, including send date/time.
3. Review Alerts:
   • Hover over a message in the data grid to see the full alert text.
   • Click the “Notified Users” icon for the complete message.
4. Deleting Alerts:
   • Check the box next to an alert to delete it.
   • Note: Alerts remain on mobile devices for 30 days, even if deleted from AppCan Cloud.
