You can use the content of a Global Data Field for the Document Distributor App Name. For instance, you could have a Global Data Field with a list of current projects, and use the Project Name for the Document Distributor App Name.
- Add a new Global Data Field in Admin, or use an existing Global Data Field.
- Select the ‘Use for Document Distributor App Name’ checkbox to enable this list for use as a Document Distributor App Name.
- Save your changes.
- Create your new Document Distributor.
- Select ‘Use List’
- Select the required Global List to be used
- Select the required App Name
- Select Confirm
- The App Name selected will now be populated with the Project Name from the Global Data Field.
