AppCan supports the capture of barcodes.

To configure barcode capture, in the Data Collector builder, select the ‘Barcode’ field type.

On AppCan Mobile, a barcode field is identified by the barcode icon.

Tap on the barcode icon, the camera will open. Point the camera at the barcode and the barcode value will be automatically written in the field.

You can manually enter the value if the barcode cannot be read for any reason.
