The Start of Day Workflow feature allows you to set which Data Collector app(s) must have at least one record submitted (on a daily basis) before the user can continue to complete other Data Collector apps.
Configuring Start of Day Workflow
In Data Collector Options, check the ‘Set as Primary Data Collector for Workflow’ option and publish the app.
You can have multiple Data Collectors set as Primary Data Collectors as required.
It is suggested you configure the ‘Record resubmission active’ (in Data Collector Options) for 1 day to ensure a new record has to be completed each day.
Or, set the Green Cloud tidy up for 1 day to remove the record each day.
In the Apps List on the mobile device, any Data Collector apps set as primary collectors will always sit at the top of the list, below New Records Received and Unread Documents. The user cannot change the position of Primary Data Collectors.
Bypass Start of Day Workflow
If a user needs to bypass the Start of Day Workflow, you can set this via Access Levels. The user needs a Portal account with ‘Bypass Start of Day’ permission enabled.
