You can improve the time a report takes to print, and therefore increase the number of records in each print, by Optimising the report.

Optimising a Report

By default, when a report is printed, all selected data against the app is loaded into the report regardless if it is required for the report or not.

Using the Optimisation option in Report Builder, you can prevent unwanted data being loaded in to the report, which will improve performance of the report.

To configure report ‘Optimisation’, in the ‘Report Builder’ grid select the 3 bar ‘Options’ icon against the required report.

In the Report Options popup box, select ‘Optimisation’

In the dropdown field, a list of all available fields for the app are shown.  By default, these all selected.  Uncheck all the fields that are not being used in the report and then select ‘Save’.
